Our Story
The idea of iModelita emerged in 2024 from the ash of an accident, changing the way our founder, Antonia, viewed her career going forward. She formed the idea from her hospital bed with support from her incredible Sicilian family and worked over the next year to bring her vision to life. iModelita came to fruition in 2025 after the successful launch of The True Sicilian Experience, which is the diamond of the company. We have since gone on to launch multiple luxury photographic holidays as well as offering Italian freelance models, curated tours and model management here in England. This has become a huge success and we now help models from across Italy create their own story.
Our Family
​
Our family is made up of our founders, Antonia and Carmelo along with Rosalia (our Italian mama), Pino (our Italian papa'), Angel (our admin assistant), and John (our in house photographer). ​
​
Antonia - handles all model scouting, admin, directing, tutoring and oversees the smooth daily operations of the company.
​
Carmelo - looks after the locations, transfers and shoot plans & is our main point of contact in Italy.
​
Rosalia - is our own personal chef, bringing a traditional taste of Sicily to your plates.
​
Pino - provides us with our freshly baked products from our family bakery.
​
Angel - handles admin, helps with directing and tutoring models.
​
John - takes care of the iModelita portfolio and offers tuition on our events.

"I have just attended the final iModelita Sicily shoot of the year and enjoyed it tremendously. The villa was magnificent with so many fabulous shooting spots around the pool and grounds as well as inside when it just got too hot! Out on location we shot street scenes in Palermo, at old Palaces, on a beach at dawn and at an exquisite beach side town which gave us both shots on the rocks and by a majestic church.
The organisers were very flexible as we had to deal with changing weather conditions and so unplanned we were taking moody portraits against purple clouds or swimming in he rain.
It was a truly magical few days which I wished had been a lot longer. The models Antonia Jay, Angel Black, Noemi Bo, Andreina and the force of nature that is Alice Fox together with tutoring by John Black made this a total and most wonderful experience. If you add to this the great bars and restaurants and the delicious home cooked Sicilian food it was also a gastronomic treat like being part of a large (and noisy!) Sicilian family.
I you are thinking of trying out a group shoot in the sun (whatever your ability) - this one deserves five gold stars. I understand that unsurprisingly the 2026 offer is booking fast."
